V-MODA Crossfade LP2 Over-Ear Noise-Isolating Metal Headphone – Matte, Zero Noise Leak, great bass, good sound and built like a tank

The audio high quality of these headphones is on a par with my audio technica ath-m50x which retail at just below this rate level. On the other hand, contrary to the a-ts, these have a manner compact kind element when worn. They would not search quite as in excess of-the-prime when out and about. A single of the aspect consequences of this having said that, is that the ear cups are lesser, and as a consequence, they are not huge plenty of to fully enclose my ears. They are on the other hand, not on-the-ears telephones possibly, so they’re not definitely vastly cozy to use – at the very least for me. I don’t think my ears are abnormally enormous. The band has really a bit of spring also, so they do grip firmly, which is an situation for telephones which sit rather on the ears. The principal situation i have with them nevertheless is the body weight – they really are fairly significant. Possibly this is for the reason that of the metal trim panels – which in my check out is form more than operate. Large high-quality plastic trim panels would glimpse just as nice, even though currently being fairly a little bit lighter.

So i picked up my v-moda nowadays from the nearby amazon locker. My supervisor at get the job done complemented the ‘fancy box’. I acquired property and promptly unwrapped them to locate a awesome reliable box, a pair of cables and a one/4′ adaptor. No matter whether you imagine headphones need to have melt away in or not. I generate this review after sporting them for only twenty minutes, this is for the reason that i was so keen to share my views. I will bullet point them to make it easier to abide by. 1) i have a massive head, like. The v-moda’s nevertheless in shape me, only just. But both way they suit, so that is superior.

The sound good quality is excellent, nonetheless a minor much too considerably bass for my individual taste (also implies the mid’s can sometime be a minimal crushed). The ear-pads are ridiculously tiny for ‘over-ear’ headphones they are more like semi-over-ear, so if you want genuine over-ear headset you will have to fork out out another £20 for the xl replacements. However, the pair i gained in which faulty on arrival. The most important gimmick, the replaceable shields, the place destroyed on opening, with totally tripped screw heads. I even experimented with working with a superior allen screwdriver (relatively than the inexpensive matter integrated with the headphones) and only two of the screws obtained any grip. Ideally the substitution amazon is sending out is not going to have the same difficulty.

I am blown away at the excellent, equipment and of program, the audio. This is my first true pair of headphones and i did not anticipate this form of premium packaging. Felt a lot more pricey than it was, taking into consideration all the excess stuff you get in the box. Seem was definitely great with some surprising bass features. Loud volumes failed to harm and felt cozy.

Truly very well constructed headphones, with sturdy steel & leather-based producing for a top quality look & come to feel. The headphones are comfortable, with pleasant comfortable leather-based ear pads. The suit is a little bit cosy ( bordering on tight ) for me individually, so im not certain i could don these for prolonged durations of time. The sound is good and restricted though , with punchy mid to minimal stop and good thoroughly clean major close , without becoming overly brittle.

V-MODA Crossfade LP2 Over-Ear Noise-Isolating Metal Headphone – Matte Black : Not a bad pair of headphones at all. Bass and treble is extemely loud and vibrant, which unfortuantely is a bit too overpowering. Build quality and the case is excellent though.

Very comfortable ( they are actually smaller than they look), not to tight on your head but you want a good fit for keeping the sound in. No bleed through until you really turn it up lod. To be honest the best part about it is the bass, theres a tonne of it on tap. Really thught for teh money that this was a very good purchase for someone looking for a non blutooth reliable and great sound quality set. An added bonus is the very robust carry case. Well worth the money for somone looking for a sturdy set with an exceelnt sound.

I was lucky enough to come across these headphones when they were just £63. And honestly, i can’t really fault them. From the built quality to the sound they produce everything is just as i expected. I personally like that extra touch of bass when i listen to my music and these definitely deliverfrom the very moment, you open the box you can tell that v-moda is a premium brand that delivers quality products. However, i would recommend getting the v-moda xl earpads because the ones that you get partly sit on the ear rather than around the ear. Overall definitely and strongly recommend these headphones.

I have not tested v-moda headphones before but i was aware of the brand. Although they have only been around for the last decade or so they have already built quite a reputation for producing impressive, all round quality headphones. Out of the box there are an adequate range of accessories. V-moda has included two cables, one with a microphone and one is the standard audio only cable. There is a standard adapter and a set of gunmetal shields which can be changed with the shields on the sides of the headphones. Very usefully a protective exoskeletal hard case is also included. The first impressions are that these headphones are very solidly built and there have been no concessions on quality. It all feels very robust, from the strong cable to the shields at the back and even to the plastic and rubber elements all seem top quality. V-moda emphasise their ‘military level standards of construction’ and quite rightly so.

I’m not a massive fan of headphones to be honest and prefer earphones but i wanted some with heavier bass and comfortable fit for watching movies on my ipad with and i couldn’t be more pleased with these. The noise cancelling is great – i can’t hear anything around me. The sound quality is amazing. And they are so comfortable and light weight so watching longer films causes no discomfort. They also come in a very handy and safe case that is great for taking out with me.

I was delighted to be offered a set of these v-moda lp2’s from vine as i had actually purchased my son a set of the very same headphones only a few weeks earlier. The arrive in superbly premium packaging and are presented in a black rubberised carry case, best described as (but not) a batman mask. Their high end construction is evident as soon as you handle them; they ooze quality. You are supplied with changeable metal plates that cover each of the headphone cups. The come fitted with black plates and you get a set of silvery/gun metal which can be fitted. It’s a bit of a fiddle to change the plates as you have to undo six screws on each side (minute screws – so keep something to put them in as you do it). A small screw driver is supplied to do the job. Other, different coloured metal plate are also available to purchase from amazon. The cable supplied only operates track skip/backward functions on your device – it does not include an inline microphone. You will need to purchase a separate lead if you need one.

Great pair of headphones, a little bit on the bassy side but the sound quality is the best.

Right from opening the box, v-moda are all about the prestige. These hard-wearing headphones include metal shields which be attached to the outside of the earpieces to maximise protection. Two cables are included, one long braided cable and another shorter braided cable for use with an iphone (includes the call control and music control in-cable button, although with no volume option). There is also a robust carry case (zipped), which is fairly compact. These are not foldable, however the springs that keep the cups from leaking sounds keep the size reduced when not in use. The noise cancellation is not battery powered, but created from creating pressure against the skull and the padded ears surround the ear, creating a seal. The reduction in sound is very impressive for this manner of noise cancellation. In reality, these are actually noise isolating, not cancelling, however the industry as a whole are now using these terms like this, not just v-moda. If you want zero noise bleeding in, you need battery driven cancellation (isolation). The sound (most importantly) is excellent.
