These were bought as a christmas present to my partner after her previous pair broke. The sound quality is great and the build quality is fantastic. They’re smooth to the touch and whilst appearing delicate, are generally hard wearing and well built. The sound quality is also excellent.
Amazing headphones for the price. The sound quality is fine and unlike a lot of other headphones i’ve tried, these are very comfortable on the ear. Would highly recommend for the price.

Arrived the day after order, they look really nice as i do not like the logos on the muffs itself that many headphones have. Great sound and the microphone has apparently a clearer sound than my phone itself. Great purchase, proper minimalist swedish design but incredible audio.
I have been using urban ears for 4 years now, my first pair was the plattan raspberry, second plattan citrus and this is my third the plattan caribbean, they have lasted 2 years each pair and i can tell urbanears is always improving the quality of their headphones, the sound is amazing as always. I wouldn’t change my urbanears for any other fancy brand, these are reasonably priced and they are very cute, i love having colour choices.
I’ve own a pair of 4 year old urbanears plattan that recently broke. A common problem with the headphones was eventually cord would wear down and then one of the ear cups would start cutting out. This is exactly what happened to mine however, they were superb for the 4 years they lasted and for £30 i’d say that was a good investment. First thing i noticed when i put on these new plattans was that they don’t squeeze your head as much – a more loose fit but i found it more comfortable. The next thing i noticed was the sound quality, particularly the vocals. Everything is sharper and more clear. On my old plattans the vocals often sounded a bit faded but on these they seem much clearer. Overall more balanced sound rather than the bass bias of the old model. Also the cord is now fully detachable, so if it was ever to cause you problems you can now just replace the cord itself rather than the headphones.
Urbanears Plattan On-Ear Headphone – Bonfire Orange : Small (ish) headphones compared to most. Good sound quality and doesn’t make my head/ ears sweat like other headphones.
The sound is perfect and for the price they destroy all background noise. They’re a bit tight but a little adjustment here and there and you’re good. It’s looks great too i just wish they had other colours.
Comfy, retro, minimalist (no branding).
Second pair of these for me (first pair broken by inquisitive offspring) and the sound is as good as ever. Good bass alround performance.
I love this bran, the sound is great, fits well and looks great.
I love these headphones, they look great and sound good too. They’re also very comfortable to wear.
Replacement of an earlier model left on the plane. My son loves his urban ears.
Best gym headphones i’ve ever had, hands downthey look stylish in black and fold into themselves brilliantly so they fit in your gym bag easily. I can’t wear in ear headphones anymore as they mess with my hearing after an op so have had to switch to over ear phones which i usually hate as they are so bulky and cover your whole ear so you can’t hear anyone / anything else. With these its not the case, they fit on the ear covering most of it but not enveloping them but the sound quality is still really good which surprised me. The cable doesn’t tangle either and has a built in mic and stop / play button which is great plugged into an iphone if someone wants to talk to you. Would fully recommend, been hunting for decent headphones at a good price for the gym for ages and these tick all the boxes. I refuse to spend crazy money on over ear gym headphones as they will get bashed about and sweat on so shelling out on beats for example seemed pointless.
Look nice, feel nice, sound excellent.
My daughter is very pleased with these headphones and i haven’t heard anything since she got them so they must be working.
I can now watch the tv without having to listen to her music as well.
I’m a slave to the hipster cause. These headphones are more of a fashion accessory than an audio product. The sound quality is ok-ish. Their main selling point is that they really do look super duper snazzy: the baby blue colour makes me smile every time i whack them on. They fold up neatly for cramming into a pocket or bag. Overall it’s not a purchase i regret (although i kinda wish i did). Bonus: there are no inline music controls, but you can use them to make and receive phone calls.
The earphones arrived in perfect state. The packaging was well done. The headphones are a bit darker in color than what i expected after seeing photos online but they are nice. The quality is good so far, great sound, comfortable and practical, pity there is not volume control on the cord. We’ll see how it goes from here.
Stylish and practical, really good sound.
Bought as a gift have gone down very well love them.
I bought those earphones as they look great. However can’t wear them too long (maybe no more than 1h) as they are a bit uncomfortable on my ears.
These are probably the nicest headphones i’ve ever owned. The quality is beyond compare, these things have been stuffed inside crowded backpacks, dropped and worn almost every day for about a year now and they’ve not worn out one bit let me tell you. The sound quality is nothing special, but if you’re not an audio snob these get the job done. The fact that the cord is covered in fabric is just the absolute best design choice i’ve ever seen i think, these never get tangled and are nice to the touch. If you’re looking for casual headphone to listen to music on the bus or at work or something these are pretty much the best option.
