These headphones beat all the previous ones i’ve owned into a cocked hat. I bought a pair of dr dre tour beats just over a year ago and thought they were pretty cool. Great sound, but they had a tendency to fall out of your ears if you started jogging, so not very practical. Then i read about the sony headphones ‘sony fashion over-ear headphones for ipod, iphone, mp3 and smartphone – red’ in march, and after studying all the reviews, bought a pair of them last march. Much much better – more comfortable, didn’t fall off if i jogged, ace bass sound – i thought i had cracked it. That was, until i bought a pair of the denon urban raver ah-d320 headphones last week. They were being heavily discounted for one day only on ebay (down to £29. 99) so i jumped in and bought a pair. Wow – what can i say – these are brilliant. The ultimate pair of headphones as far as i’m concerned.
Except for the sticking volume adjusting turning feature and excessive bulkyness of them they are worth every penny and are quality sounding and work great with apple devices.

I liked this headset, good sound, looks great, nice features but was so uncomfortable after more than about half hour. So wanted to keep it but ended up sending it back purely because it hurt my ears. Would suit someone with smaller ears i think.
My son loves these headphones the sound is great and so was the price. They arrived early on new years eve so my son could show his mates that night well impressed.
Denon Urban Raver AH-D320 Headphones – Black/Red : These headphone are being sold at a great price for what you get. They are solid, glossy and yes, bassy. However, the bass doesn’t overwhelm everything as i was originally led to believe by past reviews. It’s powerful and i’d say a typical ‘denon’ sound. It sounds like a very large floor standing speaker and has similarities with my denon ah-d600 as far as the bass goes. Not quite as ‘open’ sounding as the 600, but very pleasant. The ipod control is really well thought out and easily accessed. I’m not sure i’d wear them outside though. They stand out a long way from your head and are a bit obvious. Great for use indoors at home though, when you’re wandering around or perhaps cutting the lawn.
Nice sounding headphones but they do not isolate sound well. However, after some family members used them, they too purchased a pair.
Great sound, build quality and packaging. Could be bit bulky to take to the street but great indoors.
I normally live in mainlands of europe and it can sound funny but when i listened to them at uk they had too much bass for me. Here at mainlands (poland) they sound much better. My personal observation is – level of bass can be connected to differences of level of air pressure between uk and poland. I know how it sound but it’s the only outcome i can think of. Anyway it’s a great product worth it’s price.
My husband absolutely thrilled with the headphones. Good quality sound for an exceptional price.
I bought a pair of these when they were on sale, heavily discounted from the usual retail price. The significant saving and denon’s reputation for quality being the draw. They’re presented very nicely in an oversized box and do impress. I should firstly explain that i’m continually buying headphones, looking for the perfect pair. When i think i’ve found them, i’ll use them for a couple of months, start to find a couple of niggles and start searching all over again. So i’m not an expert but i’m fairly picky customer. For sound quality, these are 5 out of 5. Running from my ipod, it’s exceptionally good. The ‘bass’ bias that’s suggested in the ‘urban raver’ branding didn’t seem too evident when i was playing (mainly rock) music through them.
Class sound and amazing for the £35 i paid.
These were the best sounding headphones by miles. I brought them as a gift for my man. He loved them to while in hospital they got stolen.
Very good sound and a very low pricezeer goed geluid en een zeer lage prijs .
Excellent headphones the sound quality is exceptional.
Thank youthis is the perfect headphonesi love it.
Good sound, very pleased with them, had them a while now.
Even if give away free gifts you will always find at least one person with something to say. I think people just feel like they always have to say something or comment about a product. My advice, if you don’t have anything to say its better not to say anything at all rather than waste people`s time and energy. These headphone are the best headphones for the price. Don’t listen to any negative reviews regarding this product. This is the best value for money product on the market. Admittedly the product is a bit chucky but that is the only negative aspect if you are a shy person.
Great sound for great price, however, you have to have some balls to wear them in public as they are not exactly small.
It would be almost very good but it is a little bit too heavy and doesn’t fit on bigger head.
Firstly i bought from zavvi in blue. They arrived in amazing packaging the a substantial box and inset with a fabric lining under which is the gold plated leads and dj/3. The head phones look and function great. I have an ipod/iphone 4s and ipad minis and can confirm the dial controller on the right ear works a treat. Turning the dial isn’t analogue but a digital switch to you flick forward for up once, flip again, and again until you get your desired volume. Tapping the dial does indeed pause, double and triple taps moves music forward and back. I haven’t tried the hands-free yet as am using primarily on my ipod. Am seriously looking at buying another for my brother for xmas (11 months away) as a very impressive and substantial present for £40.
So far these have proved to be the best head phones yet. They look rather large but the sound is great and the eddition of a carry bag is fab.
